I'm not sure if the Boot Camp Assistant will allow you to create more than one partition for Windows. Though you can work around it manually. You would need to be involved in a somewhat lengthy process to do this.

As long as your current OS X drive doesn't need more than 250 GB of space just to back it up. Now that your backup drive is ready, boot to Windows XP. Format the FAT32 partition on the external drive as NTFS. Boot back to OS X. Backup OS X to the Mac OS Extended drive using either SuperDuper!, or Carbon Copy Cloner so you have a full and exact bootable duplicate of your main OS X drive. Launch whichever backup software you choose and let it clone your OS X drive.
